If you have applied for the new driving license and you are at the last stage of it but having no information about the license wither its ready or not.Then there are 2 ways you can check the driving license status.
- Sending SMS to 26969 number
- Driving License Checker (DLC) App
1. Driving License the status by sending SMS.
You have your reference number for the driving license and that paper should be in your hand. Now open your mobile and go to SMS option. Type
DL <your reference number>
Now send it to 26969 number. If return message you should get the status of your driving license.
2. Driving License Checker (DLC) App
Getting the status of your Driving license is more easy using the second method. That is using the Driving License Checker App. This application is hosted by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), will enable people to check the status of the Driving License (DL) application that they have applied. This app will also help people to see the latest status of DL card. Go to the link to download the app 
Application features are:
- The app accepts both Reference Number and DL number as an input to review the latest status of their application or DL card
- The app has provision for an automatic scan of a barcode embedded at the top of the card [back side]. Once the scan is successful the app will display the latest status immediately
- The app facilitates a Card preview to simulate the real DL card. It offers preview for both front and back side of the card.
